Description

Deep red ochre is a colour found in practically every culture from Venetian palaces to Irish traditional furniture. Red earths were plentiful and easy to come by so this colour is often associated with priming furniture and as the base coat for gilding. It is a wonderful colour on its own or as a base for other colours particularly when distressing.
