This traditional gold is warm and inspired by antiques and many iconic interiors around the world. It is a muted, aged gold which evokes a sense of history and a touch of vintage charm.

It is easy to use: this water-based gold paint has a lustrous, radiant, satin-sheen finish. The paint can be layered to create different finishes: one thin coat will give a translucent shimmer when two coats will provide a stunning opaque effect on furniture. When applying a second coat, allow 3-4 hours for the first coat to fully dry.

There is no need to apply Chalk Paint Wax or Lacquer over the Gold Metallic Paint to seal except for high-traffic areas or if you notice that the paint is wearing, we recommend then reapplying one coat and finishing with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Lacquer for added durability.

Annie Sloan Metallic Paints are not suitable for exterior use.
