Découpage & Craquelure:  Paint an object or small piece of furniture in one of the Annie Sloan chalk paints of your choice. Learn about the découpage and craquelure techniques: Decorate your piece with cut-out patterns for a vintage-inspired look or use the craquelure varnish for an antique finish. Saturday 11 May, 10.30-3.00.

Make your own lampshade: Have you ever thought of creating your own lampshade to suit your home décor? How about choosing a fabric and making your own drum lampshade. No sewing skills involved at all! A unique home accessory made by you. Thursday 16 May, 10.30-12.30; Thursday 13 June, 5.30-7.30

 

 

 

Restyle your furniture: Do you love the look of painted furniture, but aren’t sure where to begin? There’s nothing like practicing on an actual piece of furniture.

Achieve the look you love for your home. Create something beautiful and unique with Chalk Paint, a decorative paint by Annie Sloan: You can try a vintage, rustic or modern finish, and also customize your piece with stencils or gilding. You will learn how to transform a drab piece of furniture into a fabulous new find! They are plenty of colours to choose from. All you have to do is bring a small item of furniture with you and start painting!  Saturday 25 May, 10.30-3.00; Saturday 15 June, 10.30-3.00

Basic Upholstery : Paint a chair or a stool in one of Annie Sloan chalk paints of your choice. Customize it by redoing the upholstery with a patterned or plain fabric. Add some studs for a professional finish. Voilà! You have a new seat made by you! Wednesday 29 May, 10.30-3.00.

 

 

Workshops are limited to 5 persons to ensure that I can spend as much one-to-one time as possible. All materials, tea/coffee and a light lunch are provided. The workshops cost are from €40.00 to €75.00 per session. Booking is essential.
